Up to know we run Baan4 on a HP Unix machine with an Informix Database. For some reasons we maybe have to migrate to
an NT4-server with MS-SQL7 Database. Does anyone know if we will run in bigger problems eg performance ? There will be about 40 - 50 users.

What is the configuration of the NT Server? Ex. Processors, Memory, Speed of Drives , Etc

Based on your Machine and NT configuration, I am using Ibm Netifinity M10 7000 with windows NT 4.0 and MS Sql 7.0 without any problems and performance issues.

We are just upgrade our installation from MSSQL7 to MSSQL2k SP3a, and dicover that MSSQL7 have very poor perfomanse vs MSSQL2K. So, if you can beter is to ugrade to MSSQL2k SP 3a and OS MS Server 2k.
