Hi,
What should be the optimum value of the parammeter. We are on BaaN IV c4 with Oracle 7.3. Also what are the optimum values of the other tuning parameters ?
Also it is mentioned that locking behaviour can be determined by the ora_init setting. But i could not figure out the intricacies. What is the exact effect of the settings of explicit insert, explicit update, explicit delete on table or row locking behaviour.
