We have RS/6000 H70 with AIX 4.3 as DB server running DB2. There are two separate Application Servers (RS/6000 H70 and H50).

We have 115 Baan licences. We find that whenever the load on system goes up (typically month end etc), users start getting bdb_error 2402 (fatal error) and the Bhell stops. This error starts appearing when starting a new bshell or even in the middle of active sessions.

I suspect some of the DB parameters responsible for this. We have some recommendations in this regard from Baan and IBM and they (obviously) do not match. In the enclosed excel sheet I have given the values of various parameters (the current value on the system, Baan recommendations and IBM recommendations).

I would appreciate reciving some help in overcoming this issue.
