Against a production order, I issued materal through Generate Outbound advice and Release Outbound advice for production.
For some reason, the said production order is cancelled and the issued material taken back into stock. How do I do this?

I tried inserting negative quantity in Maintain estimated materials and then doing Gen Outbound and Rel outbound..but it is not working.

You can insert the negative quantity, to be moved back, on the session "Material to issue for production order".
After this you must insert manually the negative outbound adivce and then release it.

Now I am working on BaanV, where you can process the negative outbound automatically.

u must use the session "Enter Material Issue" and

not maintain estimated material and enter the negative

quantity and do the outbound..

it is working perfectly

My problem is maybe in fact that it was closed production order which we reactivated ( so production order lines were lost) ... ?
