Is there anybody that has any eperience of BaaN's Product Configuration module? How does it work? Advantages/disadvantages, documentation, etc...

I looked at it for casual interest very long ago.

You can find excellant reference matter on the BAAN On-Line help:

Start up the menu browser
Sit on BAAN IV Manufacturing
Choose /Help/Contents and locate Product Configuraton
It may be necessary to click on <Relations> hyperlink and then locate what you need.

Unfortunately, you will have to work yourself on deciding about advantages/ disadvantages, but I found it to be fairly comprehensive, though advanced use requires some BAAN 3GL Programming knowledge.

I am a baan consultant from Germany and have implemented the PCF.
There is one basic thing to know. If you want to use PCF you have to use the small project PCS also.
