How to maintain text for operations for a production order. The table tisfc010 has text field but in report Operations completed Text button is not enabled.

How you are managing at ur site?
Do I have to customize this session? How BaaN missed this?

What version of BaaN are you on?

I tried in latest (development) version.
There it works. After you select an operation there, the text button is enabled.

The workaround is of course to go to Prod.Planning (tisfc1500m000). Guess it will work there.

I suppose to log a defect on that at BaaN Support.

Thanks. You are right. But I cannot enter operation text in this session(tisfc1500m000) as it is a display session only.

We are on BaaN IVC4.

In the session tisfc0102m000(Report operations completed) it is not enabled. The user would like to enter the text in this session id there is any rejection. Is text button enabled in ur system in this session?

You are in the display operations session.
If you go into the tisfc1101m000 session. (Maintain Operations), then you are allowed to enter a text.

Operation texts are actually meant for instructions.
Therefor there is no option in report operations to maintain it.

There is a QMS module (in the TC -package), in which you can do things like this with rejections BTW.
