WE have build the new company, and populated purchase, sales and inventory tables with the legacy data. Now we have to change all the Item Group with the different code, We donot have any financial tables populated.

How many and what are the tables that needs to be changed.

tcmcs023 is the Item Group table. My guess is you want to change tiitm001.citg for items. This can accomplished manually or by using a simple script or session.

sales, purchase tables and transactions are also been populated. all in all I need to know the list of tables that will change when the Item Group table tcmcs023 is changed. I know bunch of them like.

tiitm002
tiitm004
tdslsl041
tdpur041 etc.

The fact is that any other table will not change just because tcmmcs023 is changed. Other than editing the description of the item group additions to the table will not affect any other table and deletions will not be allowed as long as the Item Group is used. If you are wondering where this table is used then run session ttadv4430m000 (print where used tables).
