We are on Baan 50.b, and are using Signals with MRP. We are seeing a lot of inconsistencies with how it operates....has anyone else had the same problems?

We are extensively testing the signals feature in B5c MRP in our final simulation stage. So far it's OK. What exactly do you mean by inconsistencies?

If you have an older service pack loaded, then you most likely will have inconsistencies with your signals.
At one time signals were very unstable. I believe around service pack 9 or 10 is when the signal issues were resolved.
