we have the base unit table tcmcs000 like base unit for Weight, Length, Volume and time are not set right ( Should be in metrics but its not) in the production company, that is up and running for couple monhts now. We also have the conversion factors set for these base units, Is there any way we correct this mess, What would be the risk are we talking about??

The easiest, and safest way might be to create a "new" warehouse and transfer the inventory from one to the other (with different units. Then change. That way you will know that everything went cleanly and have a record of the change (transactions) so you willhave something to go back to if you have to check for errors or problems.
