I wish to close a project but am prevented because the project status is not finished or cancelled. When I try to change the status of the project to finished I get the msg.
"Planned project inventory transactions still present".
I believe the sales order associated with this project is deliverd and processed but I can't tell what else might be 'open' or incomplete.

there exists a planned inventory Transaction for a customized item for that project in table tipcs500 (Planned Inventory Transactions by Customized Item).

I have seen this also with people who backflush and have unresolved inventory issues. Check the session ticst0101m000 to see if any of the materials remain in subsequent delivery. You may have to issue the components or modify the bill.
