Someone allowed our MRP system to confirm planned production and purchase orders.

We need to undo this error. Any help or clues would be appreciated.

Depending on how many orders you are talking about, I would either:

- Manually change them using the Maintain sessions (timrp1121m000, etc.)

- Write a query to find and then change the incorrect orders (though I am not sure if changing the status in this fashion will have any repercussions)

Are you looking to undo the confirmation or prevent it from happening in the future?

You may have two different problems.

If you just want to unconfirm the MRP purchase and production orders, evertsen is correct.

If you want to stop this in the future, check with your administrator and limit the access to the sessions timrp1220m000 and timrp1230m000. These sessions allow for the confirmation of planned purchase and production orders.

You may also run the MRP again with the option "Delete Firm Planned MRP/MPS Orders" = Yes
