My answer is if anybody knows how to process a range of production orders.

I assume that what you want to do enter the production results for a range orders.
1. You could user repetitive manufacturing, the orders are grouped into periods so if you completed 100 of itemA and there were 4 production orders of 10,50,50,10 then it would book complete all of the first and second orders and only 10 of the third order and none of the last.

2. you could automate the process with a function server.

If I have assumed wrong and what you actually mean is how to just set a group of orders as complete then there is session tisfc0206m000 report orders completed globally.
