When MRP generates a demand for raw material ( type 3)
is there a way from the MRP tables to determine the item immediately above it ( type 2 ) that created the demand.

Thanks

In Baan Vb - there is the "pegged" information in the planned order line.
In Baan IV - I don't remember how but I'm confident that you can derive this the information.

Hi Steve,

Check whether " Display Planned Inventory Transaction by Order" - tdinv1551m000 solves UR problem.

This session gives the demand and the supply information for an order.

Hi Flip,

I believe timrp1510m000 gives the demand and supply info only with reference to the orders, and not with Items.

I think Steve is looking for the Parent Item which has created demand for the child items.

Correct me If am wrong

Hi. You are correct but if you have the order number and order type you have the item that created the order as well. MRP is anonomous so no easy direct link will be found to the demand.
