Is it possible to consume materials automatically when we complete operation for that particular item? Currently, what we are now doing is consume materials manually by running two other session namely 'Generate Outbound' and 'Release Outbound'. As always, there is BOM for every production order, and we have different feeding section and assembly lines. What my question is, when we complete the operation of each feeding section, materials must be consumed automatically. I hope 'backflush' is the right word for that. I would like to get some detailed reply form experts.

yes. Backflush can do that.You set in item production for material = backflush if material, and the manufactured item = backflush material.
Then you input operation in BOM line, the estimated material will be back flush when related operation is report completed.

Quelle was right and also if you are using Baan IV, then in the session tisfc0100m000 --> form 2 --> Backflushing method should be 'Interactively' and Backflush Goods on Outbound Priority when using ILC --> 'Yes' (if ILC is implemented).
