we have a requirement where we do not want planning engine to generate planned orders for specific item before specific date. anyone can guide me where we can specify such date in combination with the item so that planning engine does not generate planned orders for that item before that specified date.

Hi, im using FP5
I think U can use item signal , and set the rule for planning to Blocked,but u have to empty this field when u wanna use it again.

In the ordering data of the item their is a field for maintaining the first allowed order date.
