Within Baan or as 3rd party or user developed facilities ?

Obviously taking in ECO etc

If you are using EDM it is possible to print or display the EBOM - PBOM consistency.

I was merely relaying statement from a user "assuming" he was knowledgeable !

However I think the requirement is to extract a PBOM from one date and compare it with the "same" PBOM at a later date for cost drift analysis ( if that phrase is meanigful)

In that case "Print Multi-Level Cost Price Calc" could help you analise the cost data. You are able to enter a specific calculation date that will help you identify a different PBOM if the PBOM changed over time.
