Hi All,

For a particular actual scanario that has been initialized, we have a plan item which has a sales order of 200 pcs existing. When i put a forecast of 300 for that period and run the item master plan it is expected that it should create a production plan for 300-200=100 qty. However it does not create a production plan. in the plan items session (Master Plan tab), the Production pan is set to 'Always update'.

Is there any additional setting for the production plan to be updated?

Hi Abhijit,
First of all Production Plan will be of 300 units considering there is no inventory of your item
Check Master planning tick box in Item Planning is set to Yes,
Check forcasted date should lie in Master Planning Horizon.
Run the Generate Master Planning with options Yes
It should work then.

Hi,
The most common mistake happens when system doesn't create scheduled receipt is- No time fence in Plan item data or may be no time fence multiplier.
Check out both of them.
