Dear All,

Hope someone can help me with this

Based on two different Routing, l want to maintain two different Bom for a specific item.

Without unit effectivity.

Here I am using “Material Routing Relationship”. But it not working properly.

Suggest the solution to resolve this issue.

Thanks & Regards

hi joemon

i understand now, yeah it needs some work around.

I use reference date.

You can set different effective date for both routing and Bill Of Material Combination.
eg : combination Item routing code IRC1 and BOM1 have effective date in 05 01 10.
IRC2 and BOM2 have effective date 100110.
After the production order created, you can change the reference date to 05 01 10 to use combination IRC1 and BOM1.
or else to date 10 01 10 for IRC2 and BOM2.

HI Quelle...,

Thanks for your reply.....!!

I am tested the same scenario, Different effective date BOM & Routing. With 2nd BOM Line with “Material Routing Relationship”

At the time of production order Generation Both Lines are inserted in the Production Order estimated session (ticst0101m000).

Here I want only one line insert in the estimated line. Based on selection the 2nd routing 1st line will be replace with new combination.

Thanks

hi joemon

in routing 1 (standard routing) u can set effective date 150110
in routing 2 u can set effective date 050110
in BOM u create 3 line:
line 10-1=item A eff date 150110
line 10-2 = item C eff date 050110
line 20-2 = Item B eff date 050110
when prod ord created it will take routing 1 by default.
u can change the item routing to routing 2 , then change the ref date to 050110.

standard ln function is not supported it because it related with the standard cost.
the item must have 1 standard cost.
so this is the work around.
Except u wanna use Unit Effective or Engineering Revision.

Actually we are not Implementing "Unit Effective" or "Engineering Revision".

Are you using ERP LN ? If yes, you could give the clusters a try.
