For SIC itens that we control triggering a new order after a certain quantity is reached, the order calculates the current date+lead time.
Once I have requirement for order issuing after I receive a Sales Order, how can I set the system to consider the sales order date - (less) the lead time.

Today I have a sales order to deliver at sep 20th and the purchase order was generated to be delivered to me at oct 2nd.

then dont use SIC, you can use order method = planned.
Because SIC only plan to fulfill the certain qty, not to fulfil the independent demand like sales order.
you try to test it in the test server,and check the result.
