Dear All,

I want shift wise daily production reporting in ERP LN(Manufacturing).
We are Having 3 shift per day so what could be the set up for it in calender & periods module.

Suggests yours Opinion.

create working hour type represent your production shift , attached it in standard calendar session combine with availability type .
Update calendar.
attach this calendar to the department.

Does not work.
once attached to the standard calendar, all calendar will have these shifts.
You can“t update the calendar that has differente shift definitions because it will inherit all shift defined for the other.
The only way is to change MANUALLY each day in your new calendar. After you attached it to the department you need.
I make this workaround.
I updated the standard weekly pattern.
I updated only my new calendar.
Attached to the department.
Changed again the weekly standard pattern to the previous situation.
But you must not update your calendar before changing again, because it will assume the standard again...

standard calendar has to be assign in a specific availability type.
this calendard code and avail.type combination will use this standard calendar.
