My team received an error message when trying to release production orders to subcontracting. The error message shows that:
"The warehouse order type field has an invalid value in warehousing orders (receipt, issue,transfer)". Followed by "Order type must be of transaction type issue".

Any idea what things or setup that we have miss out??

Hi,
To my knowledge I think you are missing some specific fix for this issue. When the error message is of the type "a table field name ........ a table name" , it could be data corruption or it could be a bug in the system that gives the error in a specific situation.

Once this type of error got resolved for me in the case of releasing production order after installation of the fix 223730.

Just check for that.

Plz chk in purchse order type will u maintain proper warehose order type, and also the the warehouse order type in warehouse master data
