if a production order is in "planned stage" and remained in planned status for the long period, what are the disadvantages from system point of view if it is not deleted from the system.
Thanks in advance......

Hi,
You may be get impact on your planning if you are using planning method in BaaN, because due to planning stage, it calculate estimated Raw Material and operation time etc.

There is no problem at all. if you are creating producion order but planned qty is alway's show's in Allocated inventory.
so if ther is no use of planned production order for long time. this needs to be deleted.
Thanks

Yes, it is correct that there are not problem, if you are creating manual production order. But Planning for raw material will get impacted on using like MRP because planning consider allocated Inventory.

hi
this is easy, if you check item inventory, then you will find one column -"allocated inventory".
