We have uploaded some BOMs thru. exchange scheme in one of our companies. There we are facing the problem of " not getting estimated material lines in the prodcution order when we tranfer a planned order".
For the newly created BOMs there is no problem.

My assumption is might be we have left out some data while uploading. Is there any table which will be automatically updated in the background when we create a BOM in the system?

Please check and verify the effective dates of bom lines...they should be at the back date from the production order start date.

There are no other table that gets updated when uploading BOM. As mentioned in earlier post check the effective date, quantity, phatom flag. One way to test would be to print the multilevel BOM of the top level and check if the print out is fine. Otherwise, it is a fairly straight foward process.
