I want to get the exact date when a item can be promised to customer while making sales order. I have set up Item - Planning parameters for the item as capacity CTP = Yes ,CTP Horizon 30 days
Order Horizon 30 days,planning Horizon 360 days
But when I run the ATP handling session (tdsls4899m000) - Fixed Warehouse check with show CTP details and capacity ticked the all quantity is shown as available on delivery date which is today.
When I remove the tick the availability data is shown as order horizon end date.
Item stock is 5 in warehouse whereas required is 50.
As per routing the item can be produced in 2 days (cycle time 60 min) i.e. tomorrow.
Please advice what parameters need to be set to get exact date for promising the customer.

Have you tick "criticak in ctp" in resources?
In Item Planning,you can ticked "online ATP Update", adn component CTP.

It worked with ticking Critical in CTP in resources.
Apart from that I made Order Horizon as 0.
