What are the various scenario's where Inventory is showing Location allocated?

inventory is allocated against production order , sales order , service order.

As I don't have any order where inventory is allocated and Outbound is not released and still system is showing inventory location allocated.

E.g.
System is showing on hand 100 as well as Location allocated 100 therefore i am unable to used this inventory but physical available invnetory is 100

You can check planned Inventory Transaction by Item. There you should get this information.

I think Location allocated means, Inventory has been issued against some order but not released.

If I am wrong Please correct me.

Just wanted to ask, did you get solution for this? I'm into similar issue, inventory is showing allocated but how to find out where, i mean in which order (sales/project/service) it is allocated?

try to run session whinp1200m000 (rebuild planned inv trx) hope it works.
