When I calculate and actualize cost price with antedating , eg " 301108"
the system will always read the latest currency rate, not the rate that i define in 30 Nov 08.
is this the standard form LN?

Yes this is the standard one from LN, system will always refer the Latest Exchange Rate everywhere. As it has to link every thing to Home Currency and for that it is required to refer the latest Exchange Rate.
