Dear All,
Can any body tell me what will happen if i implement QMS on BOM ?
( i validated the quality id by origin on Material (BOM) but dont know how to use it further & raise the inspection order.)

Check your warehouse prodedure.In manufacturing Issue procedure activity warehouse inspection should be applicable.Than only inspection order can be raised.

can you please explain the whole process, as I'm also facing the same problem.

when you implement the QMS on BOM, that means you want quality people to inspect the material before it come to your workcenter.
once you have implemented this then while issusing the material aganist the production order it will create one inspection order, which goes to QMS Module. once this QMS activity is finished then only you will able to proced further.

First maintain ur main item and BOM item.In warehouse procedure(Manufacturing Issue) Activity keep Inspection Applicable.Now Maintain ur Charasteristics,Aspects,Test all qm Master data.maintain Quality Id and Quality Id Easy Entry.Now In Quality Combination keep origin (Material BOM) and maintain the header item (Prod.Order Will raise on this item)and Sub Item (which is BOM Item).Now validate it.

Now raise production order and issue the material.Material will not be issued unless u complete warehouse inspection and system will not allow u to complete warehouse ispection and give u the massage " Order SFC Prodduction has to be inspected by Quality Management".

Now goto QMS " Standerd Inspection" Origine"Material BOM" U will find the inspection order .Now complete it and the material will be issued.

Thanx a lot for explaining the process.

I have a problem on this:
1)QMS setup is okay.
2)Origin--BOM
as the help and the procedure which describer former, it SHOULD create inspection order (IO) when I issue material from RM(raw material Warehouse) to work center, but in this case, the IO can't be occur.
3) warehouse transfer. ==> It should create IO (inspection order) when tranfer from orign-warehouse to dest-warehouse, but it can't occur IO.

4)the other case, such (PUR----it is okay, when receipt goods from supplier)
5)TI---it create IO from production operation.

My meaning is : does anything should be notice in the setup from the BOM inspection procedure?
as, I setup the QM data but the issue material from warehouse to workcenter, the system can't create IO in the QMS. while ,the operation inspection is okay.

Can u explain properly what u r requirement is.As per my understanding u wanting to know something about warehouse transfer.In that case you should have to keep origin as "Warehouse Transfer" in your quality combination.

Hi everyone,

In standard Baan Ln 6.1 while doing Warehouse transfer(manual) there will be no Inspection order even if we maintain in Quality Combination(warehouse transfer).It is only for automatic transfer not manual.
For Material BOM it will generate inspection order while outbound of material from stores through Production orders.
For Routing(TI) it will generate inspection orders for inprocess inspection.
