our customer works with LN FP3 and has one request.
Does anybody know if it is possible to create and provide the revisions of BOM? The same principle like by EBOM....

You can try Unit Effectivity.By this funtionality you can choose diffrent BOM items as per requirement.

Thanks for your answer. But we don´t want use Unit effectivity:confused:. We are interest in possibility to drive this choise without customization.

But Unit Effectivity is not a Customization.It works as a product configurator(same item code,but diffrent effectivity no. as per diffrent requirement.).

2) manual control by expiring effective dates and strict access control to BOM session

You can apply or change revision number of an item through EDM ( Engineering Data Management ) module in an easier way.
