I am Working on LN FP2 With Localization.
Ater creating Production order for subcontracting then you have to maintain WIP item in Localization.
I am Maintaining Input & Output Item against production order.
so is it mandatory to define WIP Item as a output in line.

Prd. order: SBTR000089

Input --- 10-- petcoke lump
Output -- 20 - percoke fine
Output -- 30-- WIP Item

Pls Provide information on this & importance of WIP Item.

The output item-percoke fine
input item-petcoke lump in WIP item session.
There is no need to gve WIP item here,it will be used when directly we are not sending the raw matr to BP,like after some operation we r sending it out.
or when we r not receiving final -Production output from sub-contracting operation,we can use WIP item as output.
