I am new to LN and unfamiliar with the its' production order process.

1) Can a negative ordered qty be added to a completed order to adjust an error in the completed qty?

2) Maybe they have not given me the session - does the Close Production Order session exist in LN.

Once the order is completed, you cannot add any quanity to that order.
what is the error in the completed quantity?

In Ln 6.1,production issue can be done if the production order is completed,but it will go in production variance.We cannot issue after production order-close.If you want to return the issued material open session -timfc0101m000.double click the line & return the quantity.

As per my knowleadge as session timfc0101m000 told by u only works for final product and only works in active or earlier conditions.

U can check the session for completed production orders,i have done it.
u need to process in the receipt line to return the qty in timfc0101m000 & then again completes the status for inbound line for that order.

yes it works, u can also do it from the material to issue for production order session, putting negative quantity in the to issue field, it does the same thing, and then process the inbound line for that order.

we can Issue material for production order even If production order status is "Closed"

Dear Nilesh,

Once the production order is in closed position how can we issue the material.
I am not aware of this. If it is yes can you please tell me the process?

Hi

we can use change production order status session and can bring production order again to completed status and then we can issue extra material and also can do hours accounting and then again close production order.

However it will have effect on costing.....
