Dear All,


We have some items that need to change the item group to suit our CRM program.

May i know that if I switch the item group, any other table/field i need to update as well?

After that, do i need to run cost price calculation for the item?

My senior is not around and i'm a newbie for Baan system. Truly appreciate any help provided.

Hi,
You wont have to run cost price calculation after changing the item group. Its got more to do with the purchase cost or bom change when a calculation of cost price has to be (re-)initiated. Not on Item Group, afaik. As far as updating the Item Group field is concerned, i would recommend using Exchange Scheme instead of a direct table update.

In addition to the above said by Sk , i would also recommend you to check the integration session in case if any integration is maintained on item groups.
