if the status is confirmed, than you can transfer your plan purchase order or production order to the actual one.

i have another question also, if anyone knows please advice, is there any way to keep track the history of planned order after been transfered?

You can transfer all three to production / purchase / distribution.

You can determine if Firm Planned gets rescheduled at next planning run or not. Planned orders always do.

You can detremine how Firm Planned gets rescheduled...for instance...do I schedule a new Planned order before an existing Firm Planned order when I rerun planning?

Baan / LN functionality is consistent with basic APICS / MRP functionality. I would purchase an APICS dictionary as a starting point and then move onto more detailed texts if you still have interest.

Tracking of released planned orders might be addressed by pegging functionality in ERP LN.
