Is your Base Weight Unit Kg?
If so you have to define a Kg to Ton conversion at the general level (i.e. without any Project, Item or Item Group defined) in session Maintain Conversion Factors {tiitm0120m000}

All conversion factors must first be defined at the base units. It is important to set your base units at the lowest possible level so that defining upper conversions are easier to calculate. Remember, conversion factors are a reverse triangle in Baan.
