i have entered material required for production order (through enter material issue for production tisfc010m000) but due to some reason i dont want to complete th eproduction order.what should i do to return the isssued material in the system? i want to return the material that i hav issued for my prduction order back to my inventory.

In the production order (in question) add an extra line of the item that was issued but this time in negative figure (i.e the quantity issued earlier) and then issue it. This would bring back the inventory issued...

You "report the operation' and production order complete with "zero" qty completed.

The system will automatically create a 'negative to issue' material line in the "material to issue" session.. negative issunace means returning to stock. And then, process the related warehouse oders to complete the system receipt.

the exercise above will solve your query and likewise complete the active production order.

take note: you complete the production order with zero qty completed.

If you are using LN6.1, then go to production warehouse order & cancel the qty by using session "timfc0101m000"
