We've just started using BaaN iv. We've installed BaaN IV with supply chain extension. Though initially we will be using only finance module of the BaaN, but management may later decide to integrate other modules also.

Will there be any affect on working etc, if now our new live package combination is derived from supply chain package combination(Right now we will not be using supply chain)?

-or-

shall we derive our customized Live VRC from standard "u_stnd" VRC and not from supply chain VRC?

I cannot see that it would make much difference either way, there is isn't much in finance that is affected by supply chain. I think the only really new functionality in finance with supply chain is the self billing.
