I want to create some BOM's which should contain items with quantities not rounded (eg 0.30).
The problem is that the unit for these items is pcs, which has a rounding factor of 1.000.
I cannot not change the unit of these items, and changing the rounding factor is not allowed because then serialized items aren't possible anymore.
Is there a workaround for this issue?

can you make the BOM unit as 3 for the parent item?

Try to use the BOM quantity to manipulate component requirements.

Thanks for the answers.
Setting BOM Qty to 100 created, just the right results!! :)

It's not convenient to use the BOM quantity to manipulate component requirements.
Actually, Infor could improve session tibom1110m000, give the use a choice to disable rounding factor on this session.
Infor support had told me that they will consider do this in later feature pack, but
from fp3 to fp7, nothing changed.
They don't think customer's idea is important, they think they are the right solution. I'm disappointed on this. From start, I change the qty numbers by sql.

Hi Looric,
If you disable rounding factor for the requirement of tibom111m000, in that case maintaining item's inventory will be problem and also there will be contradiction between earlier existing inventory and upcoming inventory, that's the reason rounding factor once defined & it used by any item, it becomes fixed for the same unit.
