Hi,

Let's say, if the demand is 60PCS, all the generator planning order should be 15PCS. There should be 4 orders.

I know the order quantity Increment should be 15, then it works.

But if the demand is 57PCS, I want to get the result as below,
3*15PCS, then last order should be 12 PCS.

Is there somebody know which parameter should setup?

Thank you very much.

How about setting up the maximum order quantity to 15?

Here of Baan system is very strange.
It will not cut to 3*15 + 12,
the result is very strange, maybe 14, 15, 15, 13, the result is not fixed every time when you run the MRP.

How about setting up the maximum order quantity to 15?

You can do ordering system lot for lot and Maximum order Quantity to be 15. I think thats the closest one can do.

Hi Avpatil,

Lot for lot, the planned order will be same as the demand. Will not cut to small orders.

You can do ordering system lot for lot and Maximum order Quantity to be 15. I think thats the closest one can do.

Hi Jeff
the system will count in this way:
Demand is 57
57-15 = 42
42-15=27
since 27 is not 15 multiply, dan it will divided to 14 and 13.
this is the reason

Hi Jennyadr,

I am just wandering why the 27 will divided to 14 and 13.
I want to divided to 15 and 12.
Is there any advice?

Hi,
The system divide it into 2 planned order.
so 27/2 = 13,5.
they round it to 14, so the left planned order = 13.

I also find this problem , and i have ask the support.
this is the standard function in LN planning, and the above is their explanation to me.

but when this happen?do you use max order qty = 15?
