i will explain you the problem my client is facing.

We have defined out finish products a serialised.Now the Ln is working from current month only.

the comany is recieving several sales return of previous months production to which serial no are assigned manually.Now how to take those item in the system as sales return with old serial nos.

Can't you create these serial number manually and receive them as returns happens. At least in Baan IV it used to work like this. You can always adjust the invevtory up and down, but I won't suggest this.
