I'm use Baan VI and use PCS module here.
Normally the user will create standard BOM and Routing first, then copy the multiple level BOM and Routing to customized BOM and Routing.

The problem is, when use session tipcs2230m000 to copy multi level Bom with method "to order item only", if it's not the first time to copy the BOM(the customized item already exsit), the routing of sub-level items will be doubled. That means, system always use "Add and Renumber" logic to copy routing of sub-level items, if the customized routing already exsit.

In help file, it said that: "If there is already a customized item for the target project for the original item, item data is not copied for the existing customized item. The relevant customized item and its underlying customized product structure are regarded as the substitute for the standard item. This does not apply to the first BOM level in the standard product structure."

I'm wondering if we can copy multi-level BOM to customized BOM without double the customized Routing? Can system use the "Overwrite " logic but not"Add and Renumber" logic for customized routing already exist? Are there any parameter to control the function? Thanks!

The problem caused by the system bug of Baan VI. I've found solution in the support website. If you meet the same problem, please try to download the patch from Infor OPS.
