I have this problem: using PCF configurator sometimes happens that my sales employee generate product variant having the same charactestics. Is there a way to check if a product variant is already present on my database and so don't generate a new prodict variant?

I believe there is a parameter setting that addresses this issue.

There are no functions or sessions available that can compare Product Variants and their options sets. If it were there, it would have to be in some process session because it would be too performance critical to perform such checks in a user interaction session.
