Dear All
How scrap & Rejections will be track in the system?
If there any functionality to define usable & nonusable scrap?
When we reject some material in the system then where it will be in the system?
can anybody suggest for the same.
Thanks

Hi sagartalathi,
BaanERP uses scrap & yield information to arrive at standard cost for the manufactured item. Once on production, you can record the rejected production output and this will appear in one built-in report called Production Order Rejects or something like that. BaanERP doesn't send the rejected output to its Warehousing module to be stocked. It just account the rejected output as additional production cost as compared to condition with zero reject.
Probably in short I can say that BaanERP uses the scrap & yield mostly for accounting purposes

Hi Paul
If we want to track the rejection & scrap by warehouse then what we have to do? Is it possible through customization?
Can you help me on this.
Thanks

If u want to handle scrap as an item then diclare an item with 0 qty on bom and then on a P.O write a negative qty it will post to inventory, and you can also declare scrap to main item.
