Hi,

This is in Baan Vc.

Item B is one of the components in the BOM of Top level Item A.
I have 1 (one) production order of 10 pcs for Item B.
I have 10 production orders of 1 pc each for the top level item A.

When reschedule messages are created by 'EP', I see 10 reschedule(in/out) messages, for different dates, for the production order of Item B. (because of its ten-time requirement in Item A).

How can I avoid these many reschedule messages. Is it possible to see only 1 message, in this scenario ? What parameters would i use on reschedule in/out signal type in the "Signal Types by Planner" (cprao1110m000) session ?
Which other parameters would need to be set.

Thanks for your time and help.

Regards
LittleJohn

I tried the same scenario but got only one rescheduling message for the item B. I could not find any specific field/parameter that would impact this. Let me have a closer look.

Hi,
Found the answer to my question :)

In the EP Parameters, on the second form tab(cprpd0100s000), check the box for 'Only Reschedule Total Order Qty'. This is doing what am looking for.

Thanks for your time

Hi

I am wondering whether the reschedule is necessary. Maybe in some case, we do not need reschedule function. So is it possible not to use this function?

Thanks in advance
