I have a production order whereby half of the planned quantity has been completed and post to inventory. The remaining planned quantity is now at operation 50 (operation no 5). Due to loading reason, the production department has decided to “sub” the remaining operation (operation 60, 70 and 80) for the remaining planned quantity to a vendor.

How best this can be done in BaaN.

System allows to 'sub' the remaining qty of the production order.
use "subcontract operation session'. then use session 'generate subcontracting purchase order'
it will create PO for the balanceqty (left out qty still to be produced)
