Dear all,

I want to ask different between Length MRP Time Horizon in Days and Effective Date for MRP Sales Forecast.
For example in parameters Length MRP Time Horizon in Days I use for 180 days then I Generated Planne (MPS)/MRP Orders/Batches (timrp1210m000) for Dec 2006 because I have planned until Dec 2006.
but why in Display Planned Inventory Movements by Item I can't read for Dec 2006, I only can read for movements May 2006.

Please help me.

Regrads,
Abas

180 Days will only get you into May 2006. To get December you need to do a full year 365 days +.

Dear Tommy

Thank's for your advice.

if I want parameters in MRP use 180 days, my consideration is I want when I generated MRP in session timrp1210m000 is fast.
Then in the field Effective Date for MRP Sales Forecast for session timrp1210m000 I put date is until Dec 2006.
There is impact for planning until Dec 2006 or I must change the parameters.

Because when I do that scenario I only see planning for May 2006.
please help me.

The Time Horizon indicates the period in which Inventory Transactions must fall in order to be included in the MRP Run. The Time Horizon starts with Current Date.

The MRP Sales Forecast means additional Demand. If you have demand in December 2006, this will not show with Planned Inventory Movement as you will only go out 180 from current date in you MRP Run. If you want to see December 2006 you would have to change your Time Horizon.
