I have a strange situation in Baan 5.0c (SP17). Baan doesn't generate BOM of critical capacities for all items. When I start the session Generate BCC (tirou2230m000) Baan starts to generate, but I get only couple of items in BCC. I went to Baan support and check the procedure about generation of BCC. I follow the procedure, but the result is same.

Any ideas where to look somewhere or to do something? Did anyone have simular situation?

BCC is for a critical item, which contains raw material which are again critical..
Always we get problems when if the head or line item is wrong setted:
Pls check in items:
planning data: register CTP; critical CTP, critical component, online ATP update.. (CTP Fence in "normal" value?)
Item production data: register item methods; critical item in master planning..

Then it should work Jero

I think that you are talking about BCM. BOM of critical materials is well generated. I have a problem with BCC.

I checked item production data and item planning data and everything seams allright.

I have two questions: what will happen if I uncheck critical component? Would it change the way of BCC generation. What do you mean about "normal" value of CTP fence. I have set CTP fence to 15 days. My order horizon is 28 days for all items and planning horizon is 365 days.

CTP Fence: If it is to short you never get a ATP message cause after CTP Fence everything is possible (no check after that Fence)


For BCC Check following:
-Workcenter tirou501 check "critical in masterplanning" YES
-Plan item Check "capacity CTP" YES
-Ressources cprpc2101s000 set "CTP critical"
-run tirou2230m000,
-proof by cpdsp4420m0000
-proof by tirou2530m000

Hi Jero,

I still have a problem with BCC. I have checked all the details that you suggested. Everything seams to be ok, except cpdsp4420m000 and tirou2530m000.

In first session, for every work center I am getting "no data within selection". In second sesion (tirou2530m000), I have only 5 items (of 150) with generated BCC.

The same procedure I allready checked last week. I found some SSA document on Baan Support with steps for BCC generation.

Any ideas?
