I would like to know if there's a parameter or something that can be set to block MRP orders from being generated?
We need to be able to block MRP orders the same way regular sales orders are blocked when the customer is blocked (over the credit limit, delinquent, etc.)

We can do such a thing for MPS items, but not for MRP items. But you can work around by -
1) Not transferring the planned orders to logistics modules(purchasing, SFC).
2) Marking the generated orders as cancelled.
3) Making the item a non-MRP item in item master.

You could set up a signal code that blocks transactions for this item. You can generate MRP, but you wont be able to confirm and transfer the order.

Try using signal codes, the MRP orders will be generated but you can`t confirm them. The confirm MRP orders session will also give you an error message report for the signal code blocked items.
