Is there any way to update the cost of purchased items other than running the cost price calculation. Assuming that some of the purchased inventory items do not have surcharges, can the price not be automatically taken from the purchase order at the time of receipt? If we follow weighted average method of valuing issues from stock, can BaaN not work the weighted average out every time there is a receipt under a purchase order, assuming there are no surcharges?
