Dear All,
i am creating New items in Item Master (tiitm0101m000). For Similar Items i am copying the previous item from the Item master and i am changing only the description and Purchase Price, but remaining all the details are same, so it is not required to change the data, after maintaining the localised data for the item and when calculating the standard cost price for the item it is calculated as 1000. even if i m putting 10000 in Purchase Price it is calculating the standard cost price as 1000.
Can anyone suggest what may be the Problem.

You might look in the parameter for purchase price priority. For example, you may have copied simulated purch price data and/or avg/latest po price data and it may have priority over item purch price. It can't be anything else. Let me know if this does not work.

When you changed the price, didnt the system prompt you whether you want to change the Average & Latest Purchase Price by the Actual Purchase Price?
