Could some one tell me how to clean/delete all confirmed MRP production and purchase orders?

Due to performance issues in the past, the comp. I'm working for currently, executes a drop table to clean all MRP-transactions. A regen. MRP will rebuild all related tables. Not a nice way but doable.
Otherwise you can delete only the orders with status "planned" on DB-level and also run Reg. MRP.
No standard session is available yet, but (not a Tools guy) can't be hard to programm one.
