Setting up of Inbound LT in Item data by warehouse seem to be having no effect. But I see the effect for any value in Outbound LT of the same session.
Please tell me the functionality. Thanks

The inbound leadtime represents the time between arrival of goods and actual storage. This will help in the creation of planned inventory transactions. The planned receipt date takes into account this time also.

Conceptually, I am aware of this. What I am unable to witness is the effect of ILT in the planning. When I set value for this and if I run "Simulate Orders", there is no effect of this variable in the planned orders.
I would like to know, under what circumstance will Baan look at this variable.

I have tried the same using inbound leadtimes.
But the inbound leadtimes are not taken in consideration

Eager to hear from more experts. Very surprising that it does not work.
Am planning to take it up with Baan Support.

using inbound lead time
- inbound lead time defined on item-warehouse data (on warehouse from plan
item data).
- calendar linked to this warehouse in session whwmd2100s000.
Then the calculated planned order will respect this calendar for planned
order generation. :)
Problem is that it is difficult to see how all lead time components act to their calendar. There is no overview to identify how the total lead time is build up. :mad:
